Ø Their own water bottle
3. Ensure that your son or daughter arrives on time for training and matches and that safe arrangements are in place for getting him/her home immediately afterwards.
4. Respect the managers’ rules regarding training days, training times and meeting times on match days.
5. Respect the managers: if you have an issue you wish to discuss with them.
Please wait until after the match or training session and discuss out of earshot of all players, or seek to meet manager/squad lead at a time that suits during the week. Do not discuss when attending social events to do with the club or when you meet the manager out and about when not on PAFC duties.
6. Support the club’s fund raising activities. We cannot improve and grow the club without the support of all our members.
7. Ensure your child is registered on PAFC’s on-line system by the due date and that the registration fee is paid in full. Unregistered players cannot play or train for any of the club’s teams.
Any Comms sent from manager to parents for confirming attendance or non-attendance at training, matches or any club events should be responded to ASAP.
This allows ample time to manager to organise training, prepare for matches tournaments.
Verbal abuse of players, match officials or opposing supporters cannot be accepted in any shape or form.
Players or match officials should never be regarded as fair targets for ignorant or abusive behaviour.
Remember that although children play organised soccer they are not miniature professionals:
Ø Don’t place excessive pressure on children to perform to unrealistically high expectations.
Ø Children play soccer to develop their skills, to have fun and enjoy the game.
Ø Be on your best behaviour and lead by example. The behaviour of a team’s parents /supporters will often be remembered long after the result of the game. Be remembered for the right reasons.
Ø Applaud good play, sportsmanship and best effort by the visiting team as well as your own.
Ø Welcome and respect all your teams’ opponents. Without them there would be no match.
Ø Condemn the use of violence in all forms at every opportunity.
Small sided games
Ø Respect the boundaries of pitch. If there is a rope, poles, cones on outside of pitch & you have been asked to stay behind this boundary then please respect the manager/coaches and follow instructions.
